A promotional video has been released for Nitara, one of the new fighters in Mortal Kombat 1, with American actress and model Megan Fox set to bring the vampire character to life.

Megan Fox will voice the character of Nitara, who is from the dark realm of Vaeternus and uses her sharp claws, teeth, and flying abilities in combat to protect the vampire race. The trailer not only showcases Nitara’s fight scenes but also features an interview with Megan Fox, who appears to be quite excited about voicing a character in the iconic fighting game series. Other voice actors joining the game include J.K. Simmons (Omni-Man), John Cena (Peacemaker), Antony Starr (Homelander), among others.

Additionally, NetherRealm Studios announced a new Invasions mode during Gamescom 2023. It appears to be similar to other single-player modes seen in previous Mortal Kombat games, where players engage in battles against AI with a series of unique objectives.

Mortal Kombat 1 is set to be released on September 19th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with early access available on September 14th.
