Bethesda has announced that the highly anticipated Fallout 4 Next Gen update is scheduled to launch on April 25. This free update brings a plethora of enhancements and additions for players on PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X|S, alongside stability updates and quest fixes for PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One, and PC players.

For PS5 and Xbox Series X|S users, the update introduces Performance Mode and Quality Mode settings, allowing players to experience the game at 60 frames per second across various resolutions.

PC players will benefit from widescreen and ultra-widescreen support, making the game more visually immersive. Additionally, Fallout 4 is now verified for Steam Deck compatibility.

In addition to performance and quality improvements, Bethesda is adding several free Creation Club items for players to enjoy. The Enclave Remnants pack introduces a new questline, “Echoes of the Past,” where players must thwart The Enclave’s dangerous plans in the Commonwealth. The pack also includes workshop items and the Enclave Colonel uniform, along with Enclave Weapon Skins, Armor Skins, Tesla Cannon, Hellfire Power Armor, X-02 Power Armor, and the Heavy Incinerator.

Furthermore, players can look forward to a makeshift weapon pack featuring unconventional objects turned deadly weapons, such as a baseball launcher, nail gun, and piggy bank. Additionally, the Halloween workshop pack adds 38 new Halloween-themed decorations for settlements.

With these updates and additions, Fallout 4 players can expect an enhanced gaming experience filled with exciting new content and improved performance.
