After reinventing the Modern Warfare franchise in 2019, Call of Duty took a step further with the release of MWII last year. With the launch of this installment, players had begun counting down to the upcoming Call of Duty game set to release in 2023. Unlike other Modern Warfare titles, MW3 is being developed by Sledgehammer Games. However, the studio will be using the engine employed by Infinity Ward in MW2, and the game will likely offer similar gameplay mechanics as the previous Modern Warfare releases.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to release on November 10th. While it is anticipated to launch on Playstation 5, Xbox Series, and PC platforms, it remains uncertain whether the game will support previous generation consoles. More information about the game is expected to be unveiled during a Warzone event scheduled for August 17th. Additionally, the new installment will allow the transfer of cosmetic items purchased through Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
