Valorant is set to introduce its first-ever new weapon, the Outlaw, during Episode 8, as leaked from a skin showcase. While Valorant has seen changes like new maps, agents, and balance adjustments, this marks the debut of a completely new firearm. The Outlaw was accidentally revealed in a skin showcase for the Valiant Hero skin bundle in October, and now, it is rumored to make its appearance early in 2024.

According to information from ValorLeaks, the Outlaw Sniper, described as a brand-new weapon, is expected to be released at the launch of Episode 8 on January 10. This timing coincides with the kick-off of Premier, leading the way to Contender and the beginning of the VCT 2024 Season.

Details about the Outlaw suggest it resembles a “muscular Marshal,” positioned as a mid-priced sniper rifle. It is expected to eliminate half-armored Agents with a single bullet, firing two bullets per click, akin to the Shorty. The anticipated damage to the body with one shot is around 140. Interestingly, the Outlaw is expected to debut with non-animated skins.

The Outlaw is speculated to fill the pricing gap between the Marshal and the Operator, with an estimated cost of 2,400 Credits, placing it between these two rifles. This addition to Valorant promises to introduce a fresh dynamic to the gameplay and potentially impact the existing meta.
