Elon Musk, the head of Tesla, SpaceX, and X, has added a new decision regarding the social media platform. During a live conversation with the Israeli Prime Minister, Musk announced that X would become a paid platform for all users. But why is X becoming a paid service?

Why is X Going Paid? According to Musk, the only way to stop the massive bot army is to make the platform a paid service. He mentioned that bot creators would need to register a new payment method for each bot, thereby restricting them from creating fake accounts on X.

While Musk mentioned that they would charge a small monthly fee for using the X system, he did not provide details on how much the subscription would cost or how it would differ from the existing Premium plan.

550 Million Monthly Active Users It is not yet clear when the new subscription plan for X will be implemented. Currently, X has 550 million monthly active users, and these users share 100-200 million posts every day.
