The developers of Mortal Kombat 1 have officially addressed and put an end to delay rumors surrounding the release of the highly-anticipated Peacemaker DLC. Initially assumed to launch on February 13 alongside Season 4, speculation arose when February began without official announcements from WB Games and NetherRealm. However, developers have now confirmed that Peacemaker will join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster on February 28, marking the early access release for Season 4.

Peacemaker and Crossplay have been officially delayed. The countdown has been increased by exactly 14 days (2 weeks). The current release date for Season 4 & Peacemaker is February 27/28.

The release date confirmation followed an update to the Invasions countdown timer, extending the current season by an additional 14 days. While the delay might extend the wait for Peacemaker and the crossplay update, players are relieved to have an official release date and eagerly anticipate the new content coming to Mortal Kombat 1. The delay is attributed to addressing a “desync issue,” requiring additional time and resources. Despite the delay, the Mortal Kombat community looks forward to the arrival of Peacemaker and Season 4 in late February.
