MultiVersus is a crossover fighting game developed by Player First Games and WB, which launched its open beta in July 2022. The beta will end on June 25, and the game has been removed from digital storefronts on consoles and PC.

However, the developers plan to relaunch the game in 2024 with new content updates, and it seems that The Powerpuff Girls might be part of this update. The dataminer AusilMV claims that a new string for a MultiVersus update was recently added for the Powerpuff Girls. It is not clear whether their release will coincide with the final rollout, but they could potentially join the nearly two dozen characters in the roster. 

While Player First Games and WB have not yet announced any specific plans for future content, the addition of the Powerpuff Girls could make for a well-balanced and exciting addition to the game.
