March 2023 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokemon Go players worldwide. With the start of a new season, the Season of Rising Heroes, Trainers can expect a fresh set of Raid bosses to battle and catch. From 1-Star to 5-Star Raids, there’s plenty to look forward to this month.

In 5-Star Raids, four powerful Legendary Pokemon will make a return appearance: Tornadus, Ho-Oh, Thundurus, and Lugia. Tornadus, the Flying-type Legendary Pokemon from the Unova region, will be available to catch from March 1 to 15, 2023. Ho-Oh, the majestic Fire/Flying-type Legendary from the Johto region, will be available from March 15 to 29, 2023. Thundurus, the Electric/Flying-type Legendary from the Unova region, will be available from March 29 to April 12, 2023. Lastly, Lugia, the Psychic/Flying-type Legendary from the Johto region, will be available from April 12 to 26, 2023.

For Trainers looking for a new challenge, Mega Medicham will make its debut in Mega Raids on March 8, 2023. This Fighting/Psychic-type Pokemon from the Kalos region boasts impressive attack and defense stats, making it a formidable opponent in battle. As with other Mega Raids, players will need to team up with other Trainers to take down Mega Medicham before attempting to catch it.

In addition to the Raid bosses, March 2023 will also feature a new Community Day and a fresh set of Spotlight Hour Pokemon. Details about the Community Day are yet to be announced, but Trainers can expect a featured Pokemon with a special move, increased spawn rates, and other bonuses. As for the Spotlight Hour, every Tuesday in March from 6pm to 7pm local time, a different Pokemon will be featured with increased spawn rates and a potential chance of a Shiny encounter.
