Apple Files Patent for Body ID Technology

Apple has recently filed a patent for a new technology called Body ID, which has the potential to take biometric readings from a person’s entire body using external sensors. The technology would capture depth maps through infrared images, enabling the analysis of a person’s face, neck, arms, and legs. Machine learning would be used to develop a system that not only provides a full body image, but also identifies potential health problems in specific areas and provides recommendations.

It is unclear which device Body ID will be used in, but it could be included in an iPhone or another product. In other news, a new preview of the Resident Evil 4 remake has been released, showcasing gameplay footage of Leon battling enemies and defending Ashley from being kidnapped in the castle.

The remake features improved graphics, combat, and added features compared to the original game.
