Steam’s regular Hardware Survey, which is conducted with the participation of users, sheds light on important information. While entry-level graphics cards have dominated the lists for quite some time, this time we see significant changes not only in terms of graphics cards but also operating systems.

The GTX 1060’s dominance of about five years was taken over by the GTX 1650 in November, and now the most used card by Steam players is the RTX 3060. It is followed by the RTX 2060, GTX 1060, and RTX 3070. It should also be noted that the market share of the GeForce RTX 3060 increased by 6.31% to reach 10.67%.

The operating system section also looks different than usual. Windows 10 increased its market share by 11.62% in just one month, reaching a 73.95% market share. Windows 11, on the other hand, could only capture a 22.41% share of the market, decreasing by almost 10%. Due to issues with Windows 11, users’ desire to upgrade to the latest version continues to be weak. 

Lastly, on the CPU side, Intel managed to return to its old days with a 9% increase, raising its market share to 76.18%. Keep reading to learn more about the Steam Hardware Survey for March.
