Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Game Gets Delayed Until 2024

Rocksteady recently announced on Twitter that the release of their upcoming game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, will be delayed by almost a year. Initially planned for release in 2022, the game’s release date was then pushed to the spring of 2023 and finally set for May 26, 2023. However, with just a month to go before the release date, the game has now been delayed until February 2, 2024. In their announcement, the company stated that they had made a difficult but necessary decision to allow for the game to provide the best experience possible, and more details will be shared in the coming months.

During the State of Play event held in February, where a 15-minute gameplay video was revealed, the game was criticized by players who perceived it as a “service game.” The gameplay mechanics were also criticized for not being true to the general structure of the characters. However, the reason behind the delay was not disclosed. According to Jason Schreier, a prominent figure in the gaming industry, the delay was made to fix bugs and errors in the game, and no changes will be made to the game’s overall structure.
