Kirby's Return To Dreamland Deluxe

Kirby’s Return To Dreamland Deluxe Review: Another Amazing Switch Game

Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe has recently been released, and it’s another great addition to the Switch library. In the past few weeks, the gaming world has been buzzing with activity, and it seems that the rest of the year will be just as busy. With so many games to choose from, it’s important to make sure that I’m spending my limited gaming time on titles that are worth it. However, every time we try to prioritize, a new Switch game comes out and hooks us in.

The gameplay is undoubtedly the highlight of Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe. Like Mario, we guide Kirby through various levels, trying to reach the end of each one. In terms of action, Kirby opens his mouth to swallow enemies and gain their powers. Each power has three different attack types, making the gameplay varied and enjoyable. The game is undoubtedly entertaining to play, especially when you consider the variety of powers that you can acquire. However, the game is not particularly difficult, which could be seen as a negative aspect. There isn’t much that you can challenge yourself with, but that’s not necessarily a criticism.

In terms of gameplay, the game’s bosses are perhaps its weakest point. Unfortunately, the end-of-level creatures aren’t particularly varied. You’ll feel like you’re fighting the same boss over and over again, even from the second boss onwards. However, the game keeps things fresh by allowing you to change your power continuously. Another great detail is that you can play the game alone or in co-op mode.

If you’ve never played the Wii version of the game, there are plenty of new features to enjoy. However, if you have played the older version, you’ll find fewer new elements. Once you’ve completed the main story, a new adventure featuring Magolor unlocks. You can play this part of the game alone or with friends, and there are many new rewards waiting for you.

In summary, Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe offers a classic platforming experience with plenty of action. It’s an enjoyable game that will appeal to both kids and adults. If you’re a fan of this genre, this game is definitely worth playing. There’s even a demo available on the Switch store, so why not give it a try?
