First performance benchmarks shared for RTX 4060: Here are the results
Excitement continues to build as users eagerly anticipate the arrival of the GeForce RTX 4060, which will be available very soon. In this context, we are hearing new leaks and rumors. Most recently, as the launch of the card approaches, performance tests have started to surface on the internet. So, what does the mid-range model of the Ada Lovelace RTX 4000 series, the RTX 4060, have to offer?
RTX 4060 spotted in performance tests
As a reminder, the GeForce RTX 4060 was introduced with 3072 CUDA cores, a 1.83GHz base clock speed, a 2.46GHz boost clock speed, 8GB of memory, a 128-bit memory interface, and a 110W TDP. During the launch, Nvidia stated that the card is respectively 1.2 times and 1.6 times faster than the RTX 3060 and RTX 2060 when DLSS is turned off, and when DLSS is enabled, this difference increases to 1.7 times and 2.3 times faster, respectively.

Looking at the results obtained from Geekbench, we see that the RTX 4060 scored 105,630 points in Geekbench’s OpenCL test and 99,419 points in the Vulkan test. Based on these results, we can say that the RTX 4060 is approximately 17% to 18% faster than the RTX 3060. When compared to AMD, it achieves a higher score than the Radeon RX 7600 by approximately 4% (Vulkan) to 32% (OpenCL). Although this may seem like a modest result, it is worth noting that the transition from the RTX 2060 to the RTX 3060 resulted in a 10% to 15% increase in performance. However, it is important to remember that these results are based on Geekbench, and there may be differences between benchmark scores and real-world performance.
