Call of Duty (CoD) developers are issuing refunds to players after accidentally launching a new weapon skin bundle at the wrong price, briefly making it the most expensive bundle in the game’s history.

The Gassed Up bundle, released on February 18, caught the attention of players due to its high price of 3,400 CoD Points, making it the priciest bundle to date. To acquire the bundle, players would have needed to purchase 5,000 CoD Points, costing $39.99. However, the bundle was swiftly removed from the store after it was identified as a pricing error.

The official CoD Updates Twitter account addressed the issue, stating, “The Gassed Up Weapon Vault bundle has been temporarily removed from the Store due to a pricing error. The intended price is 2,400 CoD Points. Players who purchased this bundle for 3,400 CoD Points will soon be refunded the difference of 1,000 CoD Points.”

Activision has now officially released the first ever bundle that costs 3,400 CoD Points, highest bundle price ever. $34

In order to buy it, the closest COD Points purchase is the $39.99 5000 COD Points option.

While the developers have acknowledged the mistake and are in the process of issuing refunds, they have not yet announced when the Gassed Up bundle will return to the game or if any additional compensation will be provided to affected players.
