The leaked images confirm previous reports from Insider Gaming indicating that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will feature two protagonists: a male samurai named Yasuke and a female Shinobi named Naoe. Here’s a brief overview of Yasuke’s story, which includes minor spoilers:

Yasuke’s journey begins with tragedy as he survives an attack on a slave ship, during which he loses his lover. Rescued and brought to Japan, Yasuke undergoes training as a samurai under the service of Nobunaga.
