Following the end of the long-standing partnership between EA Sports and FIFA, EA’s football games will no longer carry the “FIFA” name but will instead be branded as “EA Sports FC.” An important development regarding the highly anticipated release date of the first game under this new branding has emerged.

According to Dealabs Magazine, “EA Sports FC 24” will be released on September 29, 2023, with early access starting on September 22. Although the exact source of this information was not specified, the publisher stated that it was based on information they had acquired.

Dealabs also revealed the different editions of the game that will be available alongside the release date. It was mentioned that the game will be released in Standard and Ultimate editions, similar to EA’s last football game under the FIFA agreement, FIFA 23.

Players who purchase the EA Sports FC Ultimate Edition will reportedly have access to the game seven days before its official release. This is an increase compared to the three-day early access period offered in FIFA 23. EA Play subscribers will also be able to play the game for free for 10 hours, starting seven days before the release date, without having to purchase it.

In previous years, Electronic Arts featured star footballer Kylian Mbappe on the covers of FIFA 21, FIFA 22, and FIFA 23. However, according to the announcement by Dealabs, the cover athlete for EA Sports FC 24 will be Erling Haaland, the star player of Manchester City.

As for the pricing of EA Sports FC 24, Dealabs currently has information about the PC version, but estimated prices for other platforms are also available.

EA Sports FC 24 PC prices:

EA Sports FC 24 Standard Edition: €69.99
EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Edition: €99.99

EA Sports FC 24 console prices:

EA Sports FC 24 Standard Edition (PS4 – Xbox One): €69.99
EA Sports FC 24 Standard Edition (PS5 – Xbox Series X/S): €79.9
