Sony held its PlayStation Showcase event today, following the announcement made last week. The event, eagerly anticipated by gamers, featured numerous significant announcements, including new PS games.

One of the games showcased by the company was a title from Konami’s legendary series, Metal Gear Solid. Sony announced the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, originally released in 2004. Bringing us back to the game after approximately 20 years, the remake is titled Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater. It will be an action/stealth game, faithfully preserving the original game’s story and dialogues.

The trailer begins with incredibly realistic animal visuals, setting a completely different atmosphere for the game. However, towards the end, we realize that it is indeed a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3. No release date has been shared for the game, which is set to arrive on the Playstation 5.
