Bethesda’s open-world RPG game, Starfield, is already progressing towards becoming a comprehensive and rich game with the support of modders. Although the game has not been fully released yet, it is anticipated that Starfield will have strong mod support. Finally, a mod called DLSS 3 Frame Generation, which significantly improves performance when playing the game on Nvidia’s RTX 4000 series graphics cards, has been released.

DLSS 3 comes to Starfield The mod, promised by PureDark before the game’s release, is currently only available to Patreon subscribers and comes with some minor issues that may cause crashes on certain system configurations. However, as highlighted in the videos below, it generally seems to work quite well. In addition, the DLSS 3 mod provides a significant performance boost.

While DLSS 3 is available on Nvidia’s RTX 40 series graphics cards, those without it may still access the joys of space in Starfield in the future with another mod that can achieve high frame rates on all graphics cards. Of course, we are talking about AMD’s upcoming FSR 3.0. AMD’s FSR 3 can work with both Nvidia and AMD cards.

For now, Starfield only features AMD’s FSR 2 technology, but it has not been confirmed whether it will be officially included in the game when FSR 3.0 is released. It is worth noting that AMD and Bethesda have a partnership for Starfield. Additionally, PureDark confirmed that they will implement it into the game if AMD releases the FSR 3.0 SDK.

The Starfield Nvidia DLSS 3 Frame Generation mod is just one of many mods already available for the game developed by Bethesda. So far, many mods have been released to enhance the overall experience. Starfield is currently available in Early Access on PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S for those who have purchased the Premium and Constellation editions of the game. The game will be released for everyone else this week on September 6th. The PC price for the game is 899 Turkish Lira, and it will also be available on Game Pass from day one.
